Calabasas Peak Vineyards

These young ambitious vineyards, with views of Calabasas Peak and the Cold Creek Preserve watershed, are aligned precisely in the appropriate relative positions to view a curious split in a large rock formation on the near horizon, exposing a slither of blue sky beyond it. Perhaps, this was once a waypoint for terrestrial navigation, delivering far away fortified planetary gamma rays, or for the arrival of ancient, nutrient rich Martian gods, to visit and nourish this sacred fertile vineyard land. But, then again, maybe not, and it's just a curious split rock, providing a glimpse of what lies ahead, one vintage at a time.
